Today: Catfish Nugget Fondue


So i sometimes am blessed with ideas and this ideas was the best today.
Catfish Nugget Fondue

1.lb of catfish nuggets

1 jar of Ragu double cheese fondue

2 Cubanel peppers diced

6 mushrooms sliced
1/2 of Onion diced

Price 10.75

SO I dice up the Cubanel peppers,mushrooms,onions and saute them in a low flame till caramelized
yet not over cook them to lose freshness.

I then took the seafood fry batter bought off the shelf
Added 1 egg and 1/2 cup of cold water to the store bought seafood batter
Added to table spoons of Cheyenne pepper, garlic powder,season salt,crushed red peppers,and Black pepper to the seafood batter.

I then sliced each catfish nugget to smaller strips.
dipped then in the mixed season and seafood batter.

First I fried the catfish nuggets,dropping the catfish slices in the frying pan with heated vegetable oil, using a table spoon.

After golden crisp on one side i flipped the little catfish morsels over to cook the other side till golden brown

Saute the vegetables till slightly caramel

Put the cook catfish nuggets in a saute pan

Open the Ragu double cheese fondue

Pour the Ragu cheese over the cook catfish and the saute vegetables

pour water in the empty Ragu jar and pour it in the saute pan

So you will be adding two Ragu jars of water

Stir the water into the contents of the saute pan

Turn a medium flame underneath the saute pan with the cooked catfish and saute vegetables

Wait till the it comes to a slow boil

Cut the flame underneath off

You are done enjoy
